Indigo Adopt a School Program

We are thrilled to announce that we have been chosen as one of the adopted schools in the upcoming Indigo Adopt a School program. Coles in the Westshore Town Center, is going to fundraise, in store, on our behalf from September 15 to October 7, 2018.

As part of this in store campaign, we also have an online fundraising platform, which you can find at adoptaschool.indigo.ca.

There are four ways that you, our community, can support us, both in store and online at adoptaschool.indigo.ca.

  1. Tell a Story, Give a Story : For every family that posts a story to our Adopt a School online profile, the Love of Reading Foundation will donate one book in support of our school library, up to 20 books! We are hoping at least 20-30 families will post a story!
  2. Book Bonus : For every two books that are donated to our school online, the Love of Reading Foundation will donate a bonus book, up to 100 books!
  3. In Store Support : Coles at Westshore Town Center will fundraise on our behalf during the three week
campaign. Please encourage friends, family and neighbours to stop by the store to witness their fundraising efforts. We will directly receive all cash and book donations.
  4. Adopt a School Story Contest : “Heart” your favourite story to help a school for a chance to win big! The ten most-loved stories in each province will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win one of five $2,500 or one of five $500 Indigo eGiftcard to purchase books for their adopted school. Choose wisely because you only get one shot to “Heart” a story!

Our school is going to receive every book and dollar raised from in store and online donations. Once the campaign is over, our school will receive the funds by means of a gift card. Furthermore, we will receive a 30% discount off of books when we shop at Indigo, Chapters and Coles using the program donations.

Please visit Coles or adoptaschool.indigo.ca from September 15 to October 7 to show your support for our school. Thank you for helping to support our school community!
