Our Grade 4/5 Students are hosting this month’s bottle drive to help support their year-end Wildlife Tour. Please join us in supporting our students by bringing your bottles, cans, and milk containers to our Bottle Drive on April 6 from 9 am to 1 pm. All funds go directly back to the Grade 4/5 students to help with their ongoing fundraising for their trip.
Wildlife Tour with Springtide Charter
The tour will be provided by Springtide Charters, and we will be leaving on a 3 hour tour to learn about the local wildlife from experienced onboard naturalists As wildlife is unpredictable, it is impossible to say what we will see. However, we may have the opportunity to see a variety of seabirds (cormorants, eagles, turkey vultures, common murres etc.), seals, California sea lions, Stellar sea lions, porpoises, humpbacks, minke whales, grey whales, and killer whales (orca). We may also learn about the kelp forests and surrounding islands.
