Coming to View Royal Elementary in June 2025

Let us teach your dance unit! DANCEPL3Y Residencies are 4- or 5-lesson dance units that follow the Teaching Dance for Understanding model. The units allow students to learn more about the art of dance while developing dance skills, such a listening and responding to music and rhythms, learning sequences, creating choreography, communicating messages through dance, and preparing a final dance performance. Students use the Elements of Dance to create their own dance combinations and work in groups to prepare a dance performance that demonstrates their learning.

Senior’s Tea

On Tuesday, December 17th, between 1 pm and 2 pm, View Royal Elementary School and the PAC are hosting our Annual Senior’s Tea event. During this event, our Grade 5 students serve tea and goodies to the student community's “grand-friends” while being dazzled by an exceptional winter concert performance.

The doors open at 12:45. All tickets must be reserved in advance, and table seating is first come, first served. Invitations will be sent home with students on December 6th, with registration opening Monday, December 9th.

This is a free event; however, donations will be accepted at the door, with proceeds going back to the music department and the PAC.

This beloved event is only possible with the help and support of our parent community and volunteers. We are grateful for your participation in baking, set up/take down, and kitchen support.
